Wow, what a crazy week it’s been on the comment forum page things! 11 comments (not counting me) is some kind of record around these parts. Hopefully that kind of success continues to happen, especially now that Wal-Mart Theologian is moving here and more discussion-worthy topics will continue to pop up in the coming weeks.
I’d also encourage you to post comments at Heathcliff Explained and Right Blog ‘O Justice, but that may be pandering. And man, I’d never want you to check out the two posts I’ve written at Sublime Noises, nor would I want to mention that we (Caleb and I) are looking at a fresh new layout, and maybe, if anybody is interested, some fresh new writers.
Generic Heel fans: New Poetry Vlog.
Enough of my plugs.
Over at Blast Shields Down, Caleb has a post where he talks about Matt Bias’ dead porn, which has nothing to do with naked zombies and everything to do with Carrie Fisher and hot schoolgirls bent over desks.
Roger Ebert, not that he needs to be plugged, wrote two pieces this week that I really enjoyed. One examines what it means to be a critic, while the other talks about the commonrating system. I suppose that I should eventually get around to what constitutes fucking a stranger in the ass as opposed to crashing into a goddamn mountain one of these days.
Burbanked is rightly pissed off about this toy.
Cinema Styles has a short attention spanlong films made by people with ADHD. To answer his question though, Speed Racer needed 2 hours and 15 minutes so that we, the audience, could enjoy Shaft’s spinning head for as long as humanly possible.
Boss Nigger was in Playgirl.
Jeph Loeb’s run on Hulk will never top this.
Ladies and gentlemen, Whacky Races.
And that’s it. Keep on keeping on.
thanks for the plug. glad you’re having a good week.
